Wanniassa Suburb Snapshot

Wanniassa is one of the largest suburbs in the Tuggeranong region in Canberra's south. The Indonesian name 'Wanniassa' was given to this area in the early days of settlement. The well-established streets are named after Victorian State politicians.

Wanniassa is a very well resourced area, with Erindale College, Active Leisure Centre, Erindale Library, multiple shopping centres serviced by major supermarket chains. There are numerous sporting and recreational facilities located in the area, including local parks, and easily accessible bike paths.

The Junior and Senior Campuses of Wanniassa School are only separated by a bike path, with the Preschool located metres from the Junior Campus, providing easy access to share resources across the School.
